Mobile Home - Conversion to Real Estate
This document (Affidavit Of Conversion To Real Estate) is filed to execute a conversion of a manufactured home (mobile home) permanently to real estate. The Kentucky title must first be free of lien notations.
EXISTING MOBILE HOME FOR WHICH A TITLE HAS NOT BEEN ISSUED
The following documents and information are required:
• using the existing procedure for obtaining a title when one has never been issued, secure a Kentucky title
• owner executes application for title
• owner executes affidavit attesting to source of ownership, length of ownership and attaches any other ownership documents such as bill of sale, tax bill, etc. which will accompany application for title
• when title is issued by Frankfort, follow the procedure for filing the Affidavit Of Conversion To Real Estate
NEW AND OUT OF STATE MOBILE HOMES
The following documents and information are required:
• owner submits application for a Kentucky Certificate of Title and surrenders the Certificate of Origin or the out-of-state title document
• when title is issued by Frankfort, follow the procedure for filing the Affidavit Of Conversion To Real Estate
